Assessments

Assessments are for potential patients who want to find out how we work, and if their problem is suitable for Osteopathic treatment.

We primarily treat patients with musculoskeletal problems. You might have a back, neck, or shoulder problem. Perhaps your hip or knee has started to hurt. This might be a new injury or a long-standing joint problem.

If you've been seeking treatment from a Chiropractor, Physiotherapist, or Sports therapist without success, or if you're seeking a second opinion on an injury, our team of experienced Osteopaths is here for you. Don't hesitate to book an assessment, and let us help you find the right solution for your problem.

Assessments can be booked online or by phoning the practice. Once you have booked your assessment you will be sent a healthcare screening form. You must complete this before your appointment.

During your appointment, your Osteopath will review the information on your form and ask any additional questions to get a clear idea of the nature of your problem and your reason for contacting us.

We will then discuss if Osteopathy is suitable for you and possible treatment options.

What happens after an assessment:

If treatment is suitable the patient may book an appointment. The first appointment after an assessment is 30 minutes long as we have completed all your paperwork. The focus of this session will be on treatment and exercises to support your recovery and get you out of pain. This session is priced as a new patient session, please note prices vary depending on if you book at peak or off-peak times. Our reception team will happily assist you to make an appointment convenient for you.
